"Blues Rocks The World" Features MA!
A new, highly regarded and anticipated international music magazine for and about the music of independent contemporary blues artists all around the world has been released. Blues Rocks The World, available for free download here, features Martian Acres in a four-page spread beginning on page 30. It's an exceptionally well-written and designed bi-monthly, and we are proud and humbled to be included in the premier edition.

If you've ever listened to Paul Bondarovski's "Midnight Special Blues Radio" on the Internet, then you know his new magazine is going to be very special.

Gig in Denver!
Martian Acres had the stage for a hard rock show at Kokopelli's (2233 Larimer Street in Denver, Colorado) Saturday, June 30.

Marni Pickens was on bass and Larry Thompson (who played on our CDs) was on drums. Marni is from NYC and has played locally with Jennifer Zern and Lynn  Patrick.

This was a high-energy show with some very cool new songs. Governor Ritter joined us for a memorable night on the town...that was out of this world.

11-16-06 was Nissi's Again!Lisa Bell, live with Martian Acres!
Martian Acres was booked at Nissi's for November 16. The special treat was Lisa Bell, the favorite Boulder-jazzy female lead providing great counterpoint to Dennis' rock-out lyrics and expressive voice. Click here to view a video of Lisa Bell singing The Road to Hell.

7-20-06: Martian Acres were guests on KRFC's popular "Live@Lunch" program August 7, from noon until 1:00 PM.

7-09-06: the CD Release Party at Nissi's was Sold Out and a huge success with a stunning song list that had the audience roaring for more. Best of all, for the thousands of fans turned away from the door, the evening was professionally recorded. Keep an eye on this page for news on the upcoming "Live at Nissi's" CD.

6-16-06 ~ CD Release Update: The new and highly sought Martian Acres CD album, From Waltz to War, is released! Check out your favorite music shop to pick up a copy.
